Thank you all for your support.” She said such words during her farewell post-interaction with her fans. For personal reasons, she opted to cut her professional ties with WWE. Samantha Irvin was born on January 9, 1989, in Dennis, Massachusetts. She is a WWE ring announcer and musician. She began studying classical music at the age of four, going on to compete in classical flute at a national level. At 12, she moved with her family to the North End neighborhood of New Bedford, Massachusetts, where Samantha attended Normandin Middle School.

As part of the New Bedford High School Jazz Choir, she won a gold medal at the International Association of Jazz Educators State Jazz Final. In the mid-2000s, she auditioned for American Idol twice. After graduating in 2007, Samantha Irvin worked as the drama club director for Normandin Middle School.

In 2023, she engaged with Trevor Dean Mann (Ring name Ricochet). She has a daughter from her previous relationship. After engaging in online agony, Samantha and Ricochet finally met. Samantha Irvin performed as the lead female vocalist on the Michael Jackson tribute show thriller from 2011 to 2015. She appeared on America’s Got Talent season 10, auditioning with “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman” by Aretha Franklin in 2015, but unfortunately, she was eliminated in the semi-finals.

Later, Samantha appeared in a show titled “Home” at the Zeiterion Performing Arts Center in New Bedford. She released an EP, 27Underground, including the debut single “Jump High.” In 2016, the siblings provided backing vocals. In the same year, she portrayed Betty Rizzo in a production of Grease staged in the New Bedford Festival Theatre. In 2022, Samantha appeared on ‘I Can See Your Voice,’ playing the flute and singing “Good as Hell” on FOX.

WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry introduced her to the wrestling world. In April 2021, Samantha Irvin was hired by WWE as the ring announcer for WWE 205 Live on Peacock. She adopted the name “Samantha Irvin” as the ring name.

Later, she was promoted to the ring announcer position at WWE SmackDown on FOX in January 2022. She became the ring announcer for WWE Raw on the USA Network in February 2023. She introduced 14 matches at WrestleMania XL in April 2024 and got praise from veteran announcer Michael Buffer for her extraordinary performance.

On October 21, 2024, Samantha Irvin announced her farewell from WWE via social media.

She announced this on her Instagram, stating, “WWE Universe, my time has ended as your Monday Night Raw Ring Announcer. I love you all tremendously, and this does not mark the end of my art; I have a lifetime more to share. Thank you to every WWE fan who accepted me. To the Women’s Locker Room: You are the most incredible group of people on this Earth. I am beyond proud to be your colleague and friend.
