The second Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh, scheduled for Karachi from August 30 to September 3, has been shifted to Rawalpindi.
A statement issued by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) states that both Test matches of the home series will now be played in Rawalpindi.
As per the schedule, the first test will start on August 21 and the second test on August 30. The test match has been transferred due to the construction work for the Champions Trophy 2025 at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi.
This decision was made after consultation with construction experts and all stakeholders.
A few days ago, PCB had announced that the second Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh would be played in Karachi from August 30 to September 3 and would have been played without spectators.
